Facebook in Germany More troubel than its Worth?
In the New York Times it turns out that Facebook is the third US social network to be in Germany but it seems that Germany's privacy laws are a bit to much for Facebook, you know how every time your friend joins a new social network you automatically get constant emails asking you to join. Well the Germans really don't like that and have complained to the "authorities" and know Facebook has to remove that extra feature and actually hold to true to the privacy rules, if they fail to do so the fine is €300,000, or $410,000 per day!!! I wish those rules would apply here as well. Facebooks privacy promises never worked and continue to fail, perhaps this way they will try harder to keep their promises if actual money loss is involved

I think the greatest criticism of facebook is its provacy issues. HOWEVER, people forget that Face is a business, and not a charitable organization. their out to make money, not improve our lives.
